Past Simple and Past Continuos

PAST SIMPLE

Use the Simple Past to express the idea that an action started and finished at a specific time in the past. Sometimes, the speaker may not actually mention the specific time, but they do have one specific time in mind .

Examples:

• I saw a movie yesterday.
• I didn't see a play yesterday.
• Last year, I traveled to Japan.
• Last year, I didn't travel to Korea.
• Did you have dinner last night?
• She washed her car.
• He didn't wash his car.

Examples:
You have seen that movie many times.
Have you seen that movie many times?
You have not seen that movie many times

We use the Present Perfect to say that an action happened at an unspecified time before now. The exact time is not important. You CANNOT use the Present Perfect with specific time expressions such as: yesterday, one year ago, last week, when I was a child, when I lived in Japan, at that moment, that day, one day, etc. We CAN use the Present Perfect with unspecific expressions such as: ever, never, once, many times, several times, before, so far, already, yet, etc.

Present Perfect + Yet and Alredy

We use alredy in affirmative sentences.

We use yet in interrogative and negative sentences.

Have you done the exercise yet?

yes, I have alredy done it./No, I haven´t done it yet.

Present perfect+ Just

To express an actionthat finished very recently, we put just before the main verb.

I´ve just arrived. He has just phoned.

Have they just bought that car?

High School Musical

I Think that the movies of high school musical have very success because the songs and dances are very nice. The third movie that has been the one that more the people have liked because the songs are very easy to learn and the dances are very funny. High school musical it's about six teenagers: Troy (Zac Efron), Gabriella (Vanessa Hudgens), Sharpay (Ashley Tisdale), Ryan (Lucas Grabeel), Taylor (Monique Coleman) and Chad (Corbin Bleu) in the high school.

Mamma Mia!!

Mamma mia is the new film but the music of the film is the a musical based on ABBA songs,with additional composed is Benny Anderson. Is the comedy the protagonist is young Sophie, her mother Donna with two lady friends . Donna had been with in midsummer 21 years ago Sam, Harry and Bill, before now the born Soophie .Sophie mails and hopes to find out which is her father i nvitations to all three and hopes to find out which is her father.Donna explains the 3 potential fathers .sophie don´t wedding of the the end becouse her boyfriend have marryed in other place. Donna agrees to marry Sam celebrate with their family and friends. Finally, Sophie sings "Thank You for the Music" as the ending credits roll .

My holidays

I went house of summer with my parents and my sister swimming in the pool. I spoke with Clara my friend and Went with she (Mercado a passer) and after ate the ice cream the blue-ice (con saber a more rare) (tabien) bought with Clara candies from (manana y un pompon).

It was good but we talked much with my friend the Madrid and I went to the beach to get a suntan with Clara.Then I went to an Gandia beach with my autun Cristina . It was very funny and I went with my cousin Belen.I helped him with homeworks of maths.
After I went to Ibiza with my uncle and one friends. It was fabulous and very beautiful the beach with fish and cove.I am very well but the weather here is very hot.The people because of night went to Ibiza and have transvestite because of street dear to announce the discotheque at working.After I went to my home, my bored home.

How are you? We´re on holidays in Ibiza in the beach with Uncle Angel, for week. We´re staying with our aunt Cristina in Gandia. The weather is very hot and I´m wearing my new sunglasses.
